- Choose a character from Romeo and Juliet; from their point of view, write who they think is to blame for the play’s end and why (i.e. if you choose Tybalt, you would write as him in first person about why Romeo/etc. is responsible).

- This assignment will take the form of an op-ed piece on the class blog (acting as a news source operating out of Verona) and requires textual support for the claims made against another character. This news source's theme of the week is blame and responsibility, and accepts pieces from beyond the grave.
- After completing your initial blog post, you will respond to a classmate’s post from your character’s point of view and will attempt to refute the claims made in the other post.
- Keep in mind that not every character will blame the same person, so long as you can support your reasoning with textual evidence, this is perfectly fine.
